The measures referred to in [Articles 42](/amlr/chapter-iii-customer-due-diligence-art.-19-50/42.md), [44](/amlr/chapter-iii-customer-due-diligence-art.-19-50/44.md) and [45](/amlr/chapter-iii-customer-due-diligence-art.-19-50/45.md) shall also apply to family members or persons known to be close associates of politically exposed persons.
