# Art. 19 — Repeal

ePrivacy Article 19 — Repeal. Directive 2002/58/EC, Chapter III — Final provisions.

Directive 97/66/EC is hereby repealed with effect from the date referred to in [Article 17(1)](/eprivacy/chapter-iii-final-provisions-art.-16-21/17.md).

References made to the repealed Directive shall be construed as being made to this Directive.
