## Definition

> **(34)** '**host Member State**' means the Member State where an [offeror](/definitions/mica/offeror.md) or person seeking admission to trading has made an [offer to the public](/definitions/mica/offer-to-the-public.md) of crypto-assets or is seeking admission to trading, or where a [crypto-asset service provider](/definitions/dora/crypto-asset-service-provider.md) provides crypto-asset services, where different from the [home Member State](/definitions/mica/home-member-state.md);
