### Coordination with ESMA or EBA

1. ESMA or, for [asset-referenced tokens](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/asset-referenced-token) and [e-money tokens](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/electronic-money-token), EBA, shall perform a facilitating and coordinating role in relation to measures taken by [competent authorities](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/competent-authority) pursuant to [Article 105](/mica/title-vii-competent-authorities-eba-and-esma-art.-93-138/chapter-1/article-105.md). ESMA or, for asset-referenced tokens and e-money tokens, EBA, shall ensure that measures taken by a [competent authority](https://github.com/jakesenfti/micawtf/blob/main/spaces/definitions/mica/competent-authority.md) are justified and proportionate and that a consistent approach is taken by competent authorities, where appropriate.
2. After receiving notification in accordance with [Article 105](/mica/title-vii-competent-authorities-eba-and-esma-art.-93-138/chapter-1/article-105.md)(3) of any measure to be taken pursuant to that Article, ESMA or, for [asset-referenced tokens](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/asset-referenced-token) and [e-money tokens](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/electronic-money-token), EBA, shall issue an opinion on whether the prohibition or restriction is justified and proportionate. If ESMA or, for asset-referenced tokens and e-money tokens, EBA, considers that the taking of a measure by other competent authorities is necessary to address the risk, it shall state this in its opinion. The opinion shall be published on the website of ESMA or, for asset-referenced tokens and e-money tokens, EBA.
3. Where a [competent authority](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/competent-authority) proposes to take, or takes or declines to take measures contrary to an opinion issued by ESMA or EBA pursuant to paragraph 2, it shall immediately publish on its website a notice fully explaining its reasons therefor.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://www.mica.wtf/mica/title-vii-competent-authorities-eba-and-esma-art.-93-138/chapter-1/article-106.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
