### Complaints-handling by competent authorities

1. [Competent authorities](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/competent-authority) shall set up procedures that allow [clients](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/client) and other interested parties, including consumer associations, to submit complaints to them with regard to alleged infringements of this Regulation by [offerors](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/offeror), persons seeking admission to trading, [issuers](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/issuer) of [asset-referenced tokens](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/asset-referenced-token) or [e-money tokens](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/electronic-money-token), or [crypto-asset service providers](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/crypto-asset-service-provider). Complaints shall be accepted in writing, including electronically, and in an official language of the Member State in which the complaint is submitted, or in a language accepted by the competent authorities of that Member State.
2. Information on the complaints-handling procedures referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article shall be made available on the website of each [competent authority](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/competent-authority) and communicated to EBA and ESMA. ESMA shall publish hyperlinks to the sections of the websites of the competent authorities related to complaints-handling procedures in its [crypto-asset](https://www.mica.wtf/definitions/definitions/mica/crypto-asset) register referred to in [Article 109](/mica/title-vii-competent-authorities-eba-and-esma-art.-93-138/chapter-2/article-109.md).
