# Article 30 — Publication of sanctions and measures

**Source:** [Regulation (EU) 2023/1113 — EUR-Lex](https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A32023R1113)

In accordance with Article 60(1), (2) and (3) of Directive (EU) 2015/849, the competent authorities shall publish administrative sanctions and measures imposed in the cases referred to in Articles 28 and 29 of this Regulation without undue delay, including information on the type and nature of the breach and the identity of the persons responsible for it, if necessary and proportionate after a case-by-case evaluation.

## What this means in practice

Sanctions are **named and shamed**, in line with AMLD5 Art. 60(1)–(3). The publication includes type and nature of the breach and the identity of the responsible person — natural or legal — subject to a case-by-case necessity-and-proportionality assessment. Anonymous publication is permitted where individual identification would be disproportionate (the AMLD5 Art. 60(2) carve-outs apply).
